Miss da Silva’s
Classroom Management System for Expected Behaviors:
· Each child will begin the day with his or her name on the color light green, ready to learn.
· Colors are moved up throughout the day when classroom expectations are not met.
· They are given chances to move back down, if better choices have continued throughout the day.
· Students on light blue are recognized for exemplary behavior. These students will receive a blue ticket for the prize box to be pulled on Fridays.
Our Classroom Incentives:
· Students earn tickets for good behavior, even when not on light blue. Tickets will be placed in a tin and every Friday 5 tickets or more will be pulled for prizes from the treasure boxes.
· Also, students will work together for a classroom incentive. Good class behavior will be recognized by placing marbles called “Happy Gems” in a jar. When the jar has been filled, the students will earn a class reward.
